There are many familiar folklore proverbs that use the moon’s halo to predict the approach of rain. Weather Lore lists many variations. A favourite and particularly poetic example states: “If the moon show a silver shield,, 2/3/2020 · The light of different colours is bent by different amounts, so the ring nearest the moon will appear red. Lunar halos are considered a sign of change. They also signal bad weather is on the way because the type of clouds that cause them are often followed by large storms.
I think if you lifted my heart to your ear, you could probably hear the ocean. The moon tonight, there’s a circle around it. Sign of trouble not far behind. I have this dream of being whole.
Maybe it’s only the humidity, but the rings around the moon are turning faintly green. Some women believe that a green light in the east can reverse the aging process, and sure enough Sally feels as though she were fourteen.
